Upgrading to a new HP Server

Having had plans to upgrade our little server for a while I went to ICC. Whilst I wish I could afford one of the high specification AlphaServer systems they sell, my funding won't quite stretch that far.

So, what do I look for in a server?

For me you'll notice that hard drive space isn't an issue. This is the nature of my business. If I were to be wanting a business server, I'd need space.

Resilience is supplied by having SCSI RAID drives, a fail over power supply and HP's trademark build quality. I've used HP kit for years and their servers are rock solid.

As for what I'll go for, the HP Proliant series of servers, specifically the HP Proliant DL 360 G4.
