Apple released yesterday the MacBook Air. It is the first Ultra Portable computer by Apple, and whilst the 2100 GBP price tag for the full specification may seem large, it is powerful for the niche and it will run both Mac and Windows.
I do have one query, solid state disks are largely untested for this sort of usage. It will be interesting to see if the controller is able to out perform the magnetic disk model. If it is, Apple have just waded into the next generation of storage.
Oh, and what is notable is the new style Magsafe connector.
It will be interesting to get my hands on one of these beauties.
